LSU-Shreveport Poli Sci Professor Jeff Sadow says don’t expect the President to arrive any time soon. Sadow says assuming the President visits sometime between November 9th and the 16th, the Commander in Chief is likely to hold court in north Louisiana.

A fire destroys the Livingston Parish home of a murder suspect that is currently in jail.  The home of Errol Hicks burned down Monday.  State Fire Marshal spokesperson Ashley Rodrigue says investigators indicate there is a wide range of possibilities as to what sparked the fire.
