18th ranked UL-Lafayette baseball will take on the second best team in the SunBelt when the Ragin Cajuns take on Troy in a big SunBelt road series. Sloppy play on the road caused the Cajuns to lose a major road series this season when they traveled to Coastal Carolina and Ragin Cajuns Head Coach Matt Deggs says that his team can’t give up any “freebies” to Troy if they want to take this key series.

LSU pitcher Nate Ackenhausen was reported as questionable for this weekend’s series against Texas A&M after LSU Head Coach Jay Johnson announced that Ackenhausen suffered a hamstring injury.

And LSU basketball has signed its third high school prospect to its 2024 to 2025 class with guard Vyctorious Miller signing his national letter of intent today. Miller is ESPN’s 42nd ranked prospect and is from Arizona Compass Prep.
