Springhill Police have charged a North Webster High School student in Monday night’s shooting death of a classmate. They say 17-year-old Josh Lewis of Cotton Valley is charged with second degree murder for allegedly killing 17-year-old Jaylen Thomas of Springhill. Cops say the shooting stemmed from a disagreement.

The Governor’s Office is hosting a series of human trafficking summits throughout the state, including one today in Alexandria. Director of the Governor’s Children’s Cabinet Dr. Dana Hunter says this is an opportunity for anyone who comes in contact with trafficking victims to share information…:
