The Jacksonville Jaguars with the 23rd overall pick selected former LSU receiver Brian Thomas Junior.

Most analysts predicted the Saints would take an offensive tackle with the 14th overall pick. That’s exactly what they did with Taliese Fuaga (Tall-ee-s-a Foo-ah-gah) from Oregon State. The All-American did not give up a sack during his college career. The Saints have a second round pick today.

After two straight weekends on the road, the LSU Tigers are finally back at home for an SEC weekend series. LSU welcomes Auburn to the Box. It’s been a rough season for Auburn, they are 2-and-16 in the SEC. The Tigers are 5-and-13 and fans are hoping for a sweep.

Louisiana Tech is in second place in Conference USA heading into this weekend’s series against Sam Houston. The Bulldogs are 8-3 in league play, while the Bearkats are 7-and-8. Coach Lane Burroughs says the Diamond Dogs must play well to take the series…
