A Louisiana lawmaker has directed the legislative auditor to do a full evaluation of the state government’s sexual harassment policies. Slidell Senator Sharon Hewitt is making the request in light of a former aide to the governor, Johnny Anderson’s resignation. She says Anderson had a history of sexual misconduct, but it seems the governor didn’t care.:

The governor’s chief of staff says investigations involving Anderson found no wrongdoing.

Slidell Police say they have charged a 14-year-old after he lead cops on a high speed chase which ended in a head-on crash. They say officers tried to pull over a Lexus SUV for not having headlights on, when it took off before crashing into another vehicle injuring that driver. The teen then got out an ran, but was taken into custody by a K-9. He faces many charges including aggravated flight from an officer, resisting an officer by violence, reckless operation negligent injury and no driver’s license.
