Louisiana ranks ninth in the country for structurally deficient rural bridges. A report by TRIP found 15-percent of rural bridges in the state need to be repaired or replaced. DOTD Secretary Shawn Wilson says they don’t have money to build new bridges because they have to keep repairing old ones…:

The state Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control suspends the license of Reggie’s, a popular bar in Tigerland near the LSU campus. On Monday night, Baton Rouge police arrested 37 individuals, many of them teenagers, during an underage sting operation. Sergeant L’ Jean McKneely says a variety of charges were handed down, all misdemeanors…
