State Police have issued a Level II Endangered Missing Child Advisory seeking 12-year-old Jalon Bradley who they say was taken from Mamou High School by his non-custodial mother and is believed to be in imminent danger. The woman is 34-year-old Elaine Freeman, a 34-year-old black female possibly driving a white SUV.

An Amite man has been arrested following a fatal hit and run near Hammond early Tuesday morning. State Police Trooper Dustin Dwight says 32-year old Brandon Fowler hit 30-year-old bicyclist Anand Asi of Hammond with his truck in Tangipahoa Parish…:

Fowler was taken into custody and booked with felony hit and run and illegal passing of a bicycle. More charges will be referred to the DA’s office.

A severe thunderstorm watch is in place for most of west Louisiana through noon today. Threats include strong wings, hail, heavy rain, localized flash flooding and possibly isolated tornadoes. The system is moving across the state throughout Wednesday.
