The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s office is seeking an inmate who escaped from their parish jail last night. Authorities say 26-year-old Jason Dempster was serving a 90-day sentence for failure to pay child support and the Assumption Parish sheriff’s office also says he failed to appear in court for traffic violations.
