Louisiana Tech finished strong to win its first regular season conference title since 1992 as the Bulldogs swept Liberty in Virginia to secure the number one seed in the Conference USA Tournament, which will be held in Ruston. Tech will face Middle Tennessee on Wednesday afternoon.

The LSU softball team is headed to the Super Regionals after blanking Southern Illinois nine to nothing in five innings to win the Baton Rouge Regional. The Tigers tied a season high with three home runs and put the game out of a reach with a five run second inning. Coach Beth Tornia…

U-L Lafayette’s softball season is over as they lost to Baylor in the championship game of the Lafayette Regional as the Bears beat the Cajuns four to three. The Cajuns finish the season with a 45-19 record.
