On November 13th St. Tammany voters will have the opportunity to vote on whether they want a casino on the water near Slidell. This comes after the Parish Council approved the vote 8-6 last night. Councilman Jake Airey says he voted no because instead of making it a parish-wide vote on gambling legalization, it restricts the legalization just to this one facility…

Ag Commissioner Mike Strain says promoting the Bayou State came naturally for Fitzmorris.
