A deadly house fire kills four people early this morning in Baton Rouge.  The Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to the home on Iroquios Street.  Two others, a five and a 19-year-old were taken to a hospital.  Officials say a friend sleeping at the home woke up on fire and ran next door to get help.

The polar vortex is projected to retreat back north this weekend. Jeff Palermo has more.

The Discovery Channel has signed “Out Da’ Bayou” for 13 episodes after five years on CST and the Sportsman Channel. This is the first time in many years that Louisiana State Police conducted two cadet classes at the same time.  The 96th class will graduate today while the 97th class began their over 20 week training program with a much larger class recently.  Sgt.
