A poll by Southern Media and Opinion Research finds Governor John Bel Edwards has the highest approval ratings since he took office at 65-percent. He says the first two years have seen it’s share of challenges, but he is looking forward to the future…:

A 65-percent approval rating eclipses Edwards previous high of 63-percent, and is also much higher than the 54-percent approval rating in May.
