In fact there’s an ad out right now paid for by a third party group that supports State Treasurer John Kennedy, slamming Congressman Charles Boustany. The ad claims that one of the congressman’s biggest supporters is a company that builds weapons for Middle Eastern regimes. Boustany says that’s Swiftships which employs 200 Louisianans in Morgan City…:

Boustany says the ad is despicable and if Kennedy had any honor he’d demand it be taken off the air. Kennedy says if Boustany has a problem with the spot he should contact the group who put it out as his office does not control that.
