Sad news for LSU fans as Doctor David Baker, with the LSU Vet School, announced that Mike the Tiger only has one to two months to live, because his cancer, which was first diagnosed this past spring, has spread. Dr. Baker says he’s been questioned about Mike’s radiation treatment and he believes it did what it was supposed to do….:

With top winds now reaching 120 miles an hour, Matthew has been pounding the southern Bahamas with heavy rain and storm surge. Forecasters said the storm could hit Florida, or come dangerously close, late tomorrow or early Friday and then scrape its way up the East Coast toward the Carolinas over the weekend. An update on the status of the LSU-Florida game will be announced after the latest NHC projected path is released.

Angry Jefferson Parish residents spoke out at a council meeting today urging Parish President Mike Yenni to resign. There are multiple reports claiming while Yenni was the mayor of Kenner, he was sending a 17-year-old boy sexually explicit texts, kissed the teen in a public bathroom then gave him designer underwear. Resident Richard Brown maintains Yenni then offered that teen a job…:

A Grand Jury in Baton Rouge has formally charged the forer assistant principal accused in the death of Lyntell Washington and her unborn baby. 39-year-old Robert Marks was handed a true bill for second degree murder and second degree feticide. Washington was positively identified as the badly decomposed body found in a ditch in Rosedale, and autopsy reports show she died from a gunshot wound to the head.
