Kenner Police say a 14-year-old boy is under arrest after shooting two girls with a pellet gun at Theodore Roosevelt Middle School. Authorities say one student was hit in the stomach and the other in the leg. Neither of the girl’s injuries are considered serious. The unidentified suspect is charged with possession of a weapon on school grounds and two counts of battery. Police say the suspect brought an Airsoft gun to school in his school bag.

According to State Climatologist Barry Keim, cooler temperatures are in store for the state. He says you can expect clouds and scattered showers across much of the state today with temperatures mostly in the 50s. But Keim says skies should begin clearing tonight, bringing chilly temperatures to Louisiana Thursday…

But he says the weekend is shaping up to be a good one.

We’ll find out this weekend which bowl game LSU will play in this year. Jerry Palm makes bowl projections for cbs-sports-dot-com and says LSU could play in a bowl game in Florida or the Texas Bowl in Houston, but it’s hard to predict because the league office has a big say on bowl assignments…
