The three day qualifying period for presidential candidates to sign up for Louisiana’s March 5th primary election begins today. Political Analyst Clancy Dubos says the two Republican frontrunners are Donald Trump and Ben Carson and predicts that nomination process will be very competitive.

Republican Presidential candidate Jeb Bush began assembling a campaign team in the state soon after Governor Bobby Jindal dropped out of the race.

After some unseasonably warm temperatures over the Thanksgiving holiday, cooler temperatures are in store for the Bayou State. State Climatologist Barry Keim says a cold front moved through the state Tuesday, bringing cooler air for the next few days. He says frontal overrunning weather conditions are affecting much of the state today….
