The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Ponchatoula woman after she allegedly shot her boyfriend with an assault rifle. They say 32-year-old Winter Flowers picked up the gun after an argument with 38-year-old Monroe Meyers. When Meyers rushed her, she became frightened and pulled the trigger shooting Meyers in the stomach. Meyers is in critical condition. Flowers is charged with second degree aggravated battery.

14 additional strip clubs across the state were cited for drug activity, prostitution, and lewd acts as part of the state Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control’s “Operation Trick or Treat” investigation.
