Authorities believe 22-year-old Summer Allen Graves of Amite was traveling northbound in the southbound lane of the roadway when she collided head-on with a truck driven by 63-year-old Jackie Hartfield of Columbia, Mississippi. Graves, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Hartfield suffered minor injuries. Investigators suspect Graves was impaired at the time of the crash.
