The neighbor of a Lake Charles woman who was found stabbed to death in 2008 has been found guilty of her rape and murder. 26-year-old Jose Manuel Garcia-Guevara was accused of murdering 26-year-old Wanda Barton in front of her 4-year-old stepson. Garcia was convicted on second degree murder, aggravated rape, and aggravated burglary charges. He will now spend the rest of his life in prison without parole.

Former KKK leader and State Representative David Duke says Congressman Steve Scalise is a sellout and should step down for apologizing about speaking to a white supremacists group in 2002. Duke says that is an insult to every member of Scalise’s 1st district which is why he’s seriously considering running against the Congressman…
