A New Orleans judge says NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and three referees should have to answer questions under oath in September about the infamous blown call in the NFC Title game.

Authorities say the missing persons case of Kasey Bigum has been resolved in Avoyelles Parish. Sheriff Doug Anderson says 20-year-Tristin James, murdered his mother, and with the help of his girlfriend hid the body, not even reporting his mom missing for three weeks after the murder.

The two have been charged with 2nd degree murder.

 

 

 

School systems in Sabine, Morehouse, and Ouachita parishes have been hit with cybersecurity issues, and now it appears The Tangipahoa Parish Public School System is the latest to be targeted.  LSU’s Stephenson National Center for Security Research Executive Director Jeff Moulton says they suspect automated hacking programs, not live humans, are responsible.

Ag Commissioner Mike Strain says final testing is underway on medical marijuana produced by LSU’s grower, which means the product could be commercially available early next week. The medical pot was grown by GB Sciences, with oversight by LSU, and Ag Department workers picked up randomly selected vials of the product from them this morning.
