In response to the unveiling of the 28-million dollar LSU football operations building, LSU alum Ginger Gibson has started a GoFundMe campaign to raise 20-million dollars for a new university library. Gibson hopes LSU football fans rally behind the campaign as they do for the team because a modern library is a win-win for everyone.

Senate President John Alario has seen it all during his time in the Louisiana legislature, which is coming to an end. After 48-years, the term-limited Alario has made the decision not to run for a seat in the House.
