The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office says a Marksville woman was found dead in her home last night and a search is on for her husband. Authorities found 46-year-old Laura Williams dead due to an apparent stabbing. Deputies are now looking for 48-year-old Dennis Williams. Dennis was last seen wearing jeans and a blue button down shirt. He is described as 6’1″ and weighing 220 pounds. If you have any information about his whereabouts, you are asked to contact the sheriff’s office.
