A shooting in St. Tammany Parish leaves one person dead and four others injured.  Police say the shooting occurred at a home, but police are withholding the exact address pending an investigation.

A fire at LSU injures three electrical workers Friday morning.  The fire broke out around 930am at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center.  The building remained closed the rest of the day due to a loss of power.

A Mandeville man has been arrested for allegedly holding two teenagers at gunpoint after they toilet papered his house. Emelie Gunn has more…..

Early voting for the November 18 election begins today.  Secretary of State Tom Schedler is expecting a low turnout, around 10 percent.  There is a statewide treasurer’s race, the New Orleans mayoral race and a handful of local ballot items in about half of the state’s parishes.  Early voting continues through next Saturday.

LSU is expected to lose tonight’s game against Alabama by a large margin, being a 21 and a half point underdog. These fans believe that spread is way too big, but The Tigers would have to play perfect to beat Nick Saban’s machine-like team:
