The LSU School of Public Health in New Orleans has been awarded a $2.2 million dollar grant for health information and support services for young breast cancer survivors in the Gulf South. Project Coordinator Helen McMillan says the issues facing young women who diagnosed with breast cancer under the age of 45 are much different from older women who are diagnosed. She says they’ve also partnered with Mississippi and Alabama schools…:
