Landrieu grabbed 42-percent of the vote while Cassidy came in with 41-percent.

Republican family physician Ralph Abraham and Democratic Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo will face off in the runoff for the 5th District Congressional seat. Mayo received 28-percent of the vote and Abraham 23-percent. Pollster Darrell Glascock says Mayo is seen as a heavy underdog, but anything is possible as turnouts for runoffs are traditionally low…
