A run-off is needed in the US Senate race between Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu and Republican Challenger Bill Cassidy. Jeff Palermo has the story…:

Also in a runoff in the 6th Congressional District and it’s Former Four term Governor Democrat Edwin Edwards and Garrett Graves. Analysts say there is typically a low voter turnout in runoffs so in order for democrats to have a shot, they’ll really need to hit the ground running and get out their vote.

Yesterday Senator Mary Landrieu got 42 percent of the vote and Congressman Bill Cassidy got 41 percent. So what does this mean for the runoff? Political analyst Bernie Pinsonat says at just 42 percent, Landrieu is looking at an uphill battle…:

He says the best course of action for Cassidy at this point is to just lay low leading up to December 6th.

There will be no more Kissing Congressman in Washington D.C. from Louisiana’s 5th District. Vance McAllister was handily beat last night coming in 4th. Pollster Darrell Glascock says he’s not surprised…:

Duck Dynasty’s Zach Dasher didn’t make it though after he was beat by Ralph Abraham who got 23% of the vote and the family physical will be in a runoff with Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo.
