An end of an era could be taking place at LSU as Les Miles may be coaching his last game for the Tigers. Jeff Palermo has the story…

New Orleans Police say a New Orleans man was shot to death this morning just after 1:30 on Bourbon Street. Police were patrolling the area and heard gunshots. Officer Gary Flot says when police arrived on scene, they found the victim on the ground with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to a hospital and later died. Authorities are working to discover a motive to the shooting and are interviewing witnesses.

 

The supply of real Christmas Trees in Louisiana is still plenty, even after the dry summer. Christmas Tree Farmer Clark Gernon, owner of Shady Pond Tree Farm in Pearl River, says the trees are doing fine, just not as tall as they usually would be.

Gernon says those searching for a Christmas tree should check the height of the display area before purchasing a tree to ensure it fits.

A wet weekend is expected across north Louisiana. A cold front stretching across the country is brigning the in the rain. Davyon Hill, with the National Weather Service in Shreveport, says the rain won’t stop for at least a couple of days.
