The state Department of Revenue announces the 2015 tax amnesty period will be held from November 16th to December 15th. LDR Deputy Secretary Jared Coniglio (ca-nig-lee-oh) says this is an opportunity for people to get straight with their taxes with lower penalties and interest. An 86-year-old woman from Slidell is desperately looking for her wedding ring she thinks was accidentally dropped in a candy bag on Halloween night. Cops say she believes she lost the ring during trick or treat. They are asking parents… if they came to the Breckenridge subdivision Saturday night that they check their kids’ candy bags and please call Slidell authorities if you happen to find a wedding ring.
