Monroe Police has arrested a couple on murder charges following the death of a 4-year-old boy. Authorities say the child died at the home of his mother, 25-year-old Arnissia Ross, and stepfather, 25-year-old Billy Moore. They say doctors found evidence of a history of abuse on the young boy’s body. Ross and Moore were booked on charges of second degree murder. The police investigation is ongoing.

The Louisiana Workforce Commission is introducing enhancements to its online HiRE employment system for Louisiana job seekers and employers.
