The Louisiana Workforce Commission is making enhancements to its online HiRE employment system to make finding a job easier and more efficient. LWC Executive Director Curt Eysink says, with these enhancements, one’s re-employment process will begin immediately…

Flu season is approaching and the Tulane University School of Medicine has received a 1.6 million dollar grant from the National Institutes of Health to work on more effective vaccines. Tulane immunologist Dr. Elizabeth Norton says they plan to drastically drop the number of flu-related deaths with a better developed vaccine…
