The Supreme Court struck down a Trump-era ban on rapid-fire bump stocks, saying bump stocks did not fit the definition of machine guns. The Court ruled 6 to 3, along party lines, that the ATF had overstepped its boundaries when it banned bump stocks in 2018. Law enforcement in Baton Rouge have arrested several men they say had planned to ambush and kill Baton Rouge Police Officers. BRPD Special Investigations Detectives and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force executed arrest warrants apprehending a 25 year old Dwayne Williams, 20 year old Bryson Lumbers and 18 year old Yazavier Gaines, along with a 16 year old. Authorities say the suspects had consistently posted photos of firearms equipped with machine gun conversion devices on social media.
