The third round of grants of up to $10 thousand for the Louisiana Fortify Home Program opens today at noon. The LFHP began with enough funding to award three thousand grants. Donelon says homeowners must meet certain criteria to be eligible for the grant including… Cut 5 (12) “…hazard zone.”

 State Police in Shreveport are investigating an officer involved shooting that left a man dead. Authorities say it happened just after nine during a routine traffic stop. We’re told the person behind the wheel fled and as a result the Shreveport officer fired shots, hitting the man. He was taken to a local hospital where he where he later died.
