There are four constitutional amendments on the October 14th ballot and amendment one would prohibit the state from accepting donations from outside sources to conduct elections. Proponents for the amendment say such donations could influence results, but Public Affairs Research Council President Steven Procopio says the opponents give a different argument…

Amendment 2 on the October 14th ballot would grant the highest level of protection to worship in a church. Procopio says COVID restrictions prompted the amendment and that both US and state constitutions already protect the freedom to worship.
