In fact, Shreveport Representative Barbara Norton says – if re-elected this fall – she will introduce legislation to make sure all theaters would have metal screeners. That’s Shreveport Police Chief Administrative Assistant Bill Goodin, who says there were two hostages, who knew the suspect. When the officers arrived, they heard gunshots inside, and when they approached, he fired at them, then officers returned fire.
