Funeral services for both victims were today. 21 year-old Mayci Breaux’s service was in Franklin this morning; while 33 year-old Jillian Johnson had her memorial service in Lafayette at 12:30pm. Members of the infamous Westboro Baptist Church said they could stage a protest, but Governor Bobby Jindal said yesterday he would order arrests of any protestors.

A Baton Rouge woman is in big trouble after yelling that she was going to shoot someone at a Cinemark movie theater over the weekend. East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Casey Rayborn Hicks says they are not sure why 27-year-old Gaynell Haydel did this, but deputies didn’t want to take any chances after what happened in Lafayette…:

A Colorado jury deciding the fate of Colorado theater shooter James Holmes is being questioned about the media coverage of last week’s Lafayette theater shooting. The concern is whether or not Thursday night’s shooting will influence their deliberations in Holmes’ sentencing.
