The President of the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association has concerns that the Iran nuclear deal will negatively impact oil producers in Louisiana and the United States. Don Briggs says the agreement will allow Iran to export crude oil into an already flooded market…:

Governor Bobby Jindal is asking the Inspector General to get involved in an investigation into allegations that Planned Parenthood is selling body parts from aborted fetuses. Jindal has made a request to I-G Stephen Street’s office to investigate whether Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast is involved in the illegal harvesting and trafficking of human body parts. Planned Parenthood says the allegations are a flat out lie.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office arrests a deputy who allegedly was bringing illegal substances and cell phones into the Lafayette Correctional Center and giving them to inmates. Investigators were able to gather enough evidence to substantiate the claim which led to charges of Malfeasance and Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Facility against Deputy Jayron Lenoir. The accused is on administrative leave.
