The December 10th election has a few notable mayoral races to be decided and who will serve as Public Service Commissioner for the state’s 3rd district. Also on the ballot are three statewide constitutional amendments and 28 parishes will decide on local propositions. Polls open at 7 AM and close at 8 PM tomorrow.

AARP launches an interactive mobile-friendly digital tool to help Louisiana Veterans understand their healthcare options from the PACT Act.  Director of Advocacy and Outreach, Lorie Lucas says benefits from the act will help more than 5 million Veterans who were exposed to toxins during Vietnam, and Gulf War, post 9/11 eras.

Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser says he’ll conduct a poll this weekend to see if he’ll run or not. But political analyst Bernie Pinsonat says in this case since Sen John Kennedy’s intentions for the state’s highest office are unknown, he believes Nungesser needs to take other factors into consideration.
