The gay and lesbian community is elated about the historic Supreme Court ruling that legalizes gay marriages in every state. But Gene Mills with the Louisiana Family Forum says this opens up tons of litigation because there will be churches who will seek to stand by their religious belief that marriage is only between a man and a woman…:

But supporters say the right decision was made here because individual liberties should not be left up voters or states to protect. The Louisiana Clerks of Court Association is telling employees not to issue licenses because there is a 25 day waiting period for a re-hearing on Supreme Court decisions.

The State treasury department says the May 2015 Net Receipts Report shows total revenue thus far for 2014-2015 was more than $7 billion which is a two percent increase compared to that time last year.

It is now a crime in Louisiana to post or share nude images of people on the internet without their consent. Eric Gill reports…:

The body of 32-year-old Edmund Emerson Adams was found Friday morning, according to Washington Parish Chief Deputy Mike Haley. Adams vanished Wednesday while tubing while on the Bogue Chitto River. Friends say he lost control of his tube and disappeared below the surface of the water. His body was recovered around 6am.
