The Ragin Cajuns dropped one spot in the Top 25 D-1 baseball poll to number 18 after taking two of three from Southern Miss this past weekend.

Louisiana Tech won in walk-off fashion on Sunday to complete a sweep of Sam Houston. The Bulldogs have won five in a row and they are in first place in Conference USA.

The Saints made five picks on the final day of the NFL draft and one of them was South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler in the fifth round.

Rattler was considered one of the top high school prospects in the country when he started his college career at Oklahoma but was benched as the starter his sophomore season.

He transferred to South Carolina. In 2022, he led the Gamecocks to huge victories over Tennessee and Clemson. Last year, Carolina struggled to a 5-7 record because of several injuries to guys on the offensive line…
