New census figures show the nation’s population is becoming more diverse and Millennials now outnumber babyboomers. Demographer Greg Rigamer says Louisiana is following the national trend, as the state’s Hispanic population has increased increased since 2010…:

The U.S. Census says there are now 83 million people who are considered millennials, people born between 1982 and 2000.

Governor Bobby Jindal has signed into law what’s become known as the revenge porn bill. The legislation by Kenner Representative Julie Stokes makes it a crime to share an explicit photo of someone without their permission with the intent to cause harm. Jindal says this is blatant disregard for personal privacy and the number of people affected by this is shocking.

The US Supreme Court upholds tax subsidies under the Affordable Care Act which supporters say preserves health care for thousands of Louisianians. US Senator Bill Cassidy says the ruling doesn’t repeal the problems with “Obamacare”, which includes insurance premiums increasing up to 60-percent per year on the marketplace…:
