The US Supreme Court upholds tax subsidies under the Affordable Care Act which supporters say preserves health care for thousands of Louisianians. Eric Gill reports…:

The Miss USA pageant which will be held in Baton Rouge on July 12th will not be airing on Univision. The network says its dropping the show because of ties with Donald Trump who recently made comments about Mexican immigrants bringing drugs, crimes and rapists to the US. Univision says it’s relationship with the Miss Universe Organization is over.

Monsanto says they have possible plans to make a $1 billion dollar expansion to their plant in Luling producing a new product line to help with the growth of soybeans, cotton and corn. St. Charles Parish President V.J. St. Pierre says this would mean about 540 new direct jobs and the final decision will be made in the early part of 2016..:

St. Pierre says Monstano is one of the biggest employers in St. Charles.

Saints Quarterback Drew Brees tells ESPN’s Ed Werder that he’s convinced he’ll win a another Super Bowl. Brees that’s what keeps him going and he also said again that he would like to play until he’s 45. Brees came in at number 30 on the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players of 2015. That’s a 24 spot drop from last year.
