Young will be on the ballot along with Republican Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser and Baton Rouge Mayor President Kip Holden, who is a Democrat.

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locaing a missing teen-aged boy from Donaldsonville. Fifteen year-old Brandon Augusta was last seen Sunday at about 1 pm at his house, then getting into a gray car. Anyone with information on Brandon’s whereabouts are asked to call Crimestoppers or the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office.
