The Louisiana Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on December seventh on whether Ochsner Health’s vaccine mandate is constitutional. District judges initially dismissed the lawsuit, but an appeals court in Shreveport issued a restraining order against the mandate preventing Ochsner from taking action against employees who are vaccinated.

Voters in St. Tammany Parish will soon decide the future of the proposed Camellia Bay Casino, Resort and youth sports complex. Developers have brought in a heavy hitter to help win them over; former Saints quarterback Drew Brees.
