The state is reporting two deaths from Hurricane Delta. Governor John Bel Edwards says an 86-year-old St. Martin Parish man died in a fire after he allegedly refueled a generator while it was still hot. And the state health department says a 70-year-old female in Iberia Parish died in a fire likely caused by a natural gas leak following damage from Hurricane Delta.

In Washington Parish, a senior at Pine High School will be allowed to repaint a picture of President Donald Trump in his assigned parking spot after the school board had the painting covered up.
