State Superintendent of Education Cade Brumley thanks Governor Edwards for allowing schools to stay in Phase Three even as most of the rest of the state moves back into Phase Two. Brumley says Edwards agreed with medical experts who are increasingly confident that schools are not super spreader locations.

Under the current Modified Phase Two school systems are allowed to stay in Phase Three, but can go backward should they choose.

The Louisiana Workforce Commission is reviewing unemployment claims they believe to be fraudulent. Brooke Thorington has more.

The Louisiana Attorney General’s Office announces the arrests of five Louisianans for internet crimes against children. Jared Wilkinson, Pedro Moreno, Mostafa Rasheed, Gregory Pratt and Charles Howell IV were all arrested on charges related to possession of child pornography. Rasheed was also charged with four counts of Sexual Abuse of an Animal.
