The Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness is closely monitoring the chance of severe winter weather across portions of the state. According to the National Weather Service, showers will gradually increase across much of the area with a few thunderstorms possible through Saturday night as a cold front begins to approach the region from the north.
