At last night’s gubernatorial debate, the candidates were asked their thoughts on the death penalty. Governor Edwards continued his policy of refusing to state where he personally stands on the issue, instead saying he is bound by law as Governor to allow the practice in Louisiana….

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is asking residents to get out and celebrate National Hunting and Fishing Day tomorrow. L-D-W-F spokesperson Trey Iles says they have events planned in Baton Rouge, Haughton, Woodworth and Monroe to get kids excited about the outdoors…
