The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for much of north and central Louisiana. It begins tonight and ends tomorrow morning. There’s the potential of light snowfall, with the possibility of an inch or more of snow, closer to the Mississippi State line. Mario Valverde says there’s also the potential for hazardous travel conditions…

Virginia authorities have set an extradition hearing for Friday for 21-year-old Dakota Theriot. He’s accused of killing five people, including his parents in Ascension Parish on Saturday.

Avoyelles Parish deputes arrested 60-year-old Bruce Lachney of Marksville. He’s accused of beating 65-year-old Farrel Graser to death in an area called the Brouillete Cabins on Highway 452.
