The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s office says a man faces several charges after allegedly trying to kidnap a woman in her own driveway before she was resuced by her husband and son. They say 46-year-old Chad Babin of St. Amant was cussing the woman and she screamed for help. The suspect was hit in the head, and held at gunpoint until the cops arrived.
