Baton Rouge Representative Barry Ivey’s bill will be heard in the upcoming regular session.

Governor John Bel Edwards says he’ll decide by Friday if he’ll call a special session so legislators can pass tax bills to address a one-billion dollar revenue shortfall for next fiscal year. Edwards is still waiting to hear from House leadership on what revenue generating measures they could support.
